Not my favourite book in the series – which incidentally is, Maximum Security, but still a good read.
Robert Muchamore’s 4th CHERUB novel, sees a change in pace from, James’ previous outing in Maximum Security. This time, once again, James joins forces with Dave Moss, the older CHERUB agent from Maximum Security.
Posing as brothers, they move on to an estate to become neighbour’s of a local crime lord. It should be an easy run-of-the-mill mission, and it does start out that way. James and Dave soon integrate themselves into the community, becoming friends with, and working for their target and his family.
The more they learn, the more they realise there is much more to this than first meets the eye. What exactly does the death of a reclusive eighteen-year-old boy the previous year, have to do with the mission? What exactly do the local police know?
It’s going to take all James’ training and intuition to find the answers.
