The whole book is a first person narration. The author talks about his own life in a very simple language. He covers every minute details that happened during the days he talks about. A lot of chapters about the three friends, few about his affair, and betrayal . The three friends from different family backgrounds come together with their common love for cricket, to start a shop selling cricket items. they face few many challenges like public riots, earthquake, religious issues. Further more the the love relationship between Govind and Ish's sister has been realistically written. Chasing dreams is not an easy game, and this has been very well portrayed.

This is the first Chetan Bhagat book I read. I enjoyed reading it and I had bunked the whole day to just read this book.
It has all aspects to keep a reader's attention. Love, Friends, Romance, Riots, the "Masla" and betrayal.
It will keep u hooked!, You can't get side-tracked.
The love story in it is quite cute as well :) but the ending is quite shocking :(, but as a whole i loved it.
