Power is a 2016 Bengali action comedy movie directed by Rajiv Kumar Biswas. The soundtrack of the film has been composed by Jeet Gannguli. It features Jeet, Sayantika Banerjee, and Nusrat Jahan in lead roles. It is a remake of the 2014 Telugu movie Power starring Ravi Teja.The plot is simple- a man who was the look-alike of an honest police officer in his previous life, is eager to join the police. He gets the opportunity,and what follows next is a thrilling ride of comedy with Kharaj, and action along with a flashback to his previous life, which was thought to be another person altogether.jeetu visited to the fake birthstone dealer Anjali(sayantika)who preffered him a fake birthstone,and lend a commitment that he will become a police officer in 24 hours if he pay 24000 rupees for the ring. But as it was supposed to be ,he didn't became police .this enraged him and he raided into her house. Enraged, jeetu drunk liquor , and kept grieving of his failure of being police. Then suddenly, a minister, Ramkrishna ganguli, gave him a proposal of making him the ACP, and directed him to act as Birpratap. jeetu promised to arrest jayakrishna ganguli, the king of underworld,in 48 hours. he kept his promise, and arrested jayakrishna ganguli.but then jeetu realized that,ramkrishna ganguli actually betrayed him .Ramakrishna shot him two times, and jeetu fall convicted,in the lake. but his two loyal colligues,took him to the doctor and cured him up.
