The film was dubbed into Telugu and Hindi also receiving postive reviews. The movie also went onto become the first Indian film to be released in Saudi Arabia.

A blockbuster for rajini.

A good movie about discrimination of black and blue. The love story behind the old rajini was portraied well. And the climax with ramayana enchanting behind was so nice .
