Mammootty plays the role of Giri and Nadia his twin sister Gowri. Mumbai based model Taapsee Pannu acts Mammootty's heroine role. The shooting of the film held at Goa and Puducherry.The film was dubbed and released in Tamil as Puduvai Managaram. Despite the disappointing failure of the original Malayalam version, the dubbed Tamil version became a smash hit at the box office. Sachi-Sethu duo told the story of two siblings through 'Doubles'. The film which was not a great success in Malayalam has been graciously accepted by the Tamil audience. Later it was dubbed in Hindi with the same title.
